The cablejet accessories include the so called sonic heads which automatically allow the air stream required for moving the cable to flow during air injection. They are used only: (a) if the cable dia. is small by comparison with the conduit dia.
(b) if the cable is thin and soft.
The sonic head exerts a slight force of only a few Kg at the leading edge of the cable, adequate to move it straight through the conduit. |
